Rob Adams co-founded Legacy Advisors, Inc. in 1998 to guide families toward their financial goals with a long-term, objective approach that puts their needs first. He graduated from Auburn University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. In addition to providing comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning, business planning, and asset management to his clients, Rob serves as the LPL Branch Manager and oversees the management of client portfolios. Before Legacy, Rob was a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors (now Riversource), where he and Bill Hurley began their long and productive collaboration. The philosophies and high standards they developed together would eventually lead to the creation of Legacy Advisors.
Rob also owns Adams Angus Farm in Union Springs, Alabama and is active in the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association, the Beef Cattle Improvement Association, and the Alabama Angus Association, where he is a past president. In addition, he is vice president of the Bullock County Farmer’s Federation Board of Directors and a deacon at First Baptist Church of Union Springs.
Rob enjoys the outdoors, Auburn football, and watching his girls play volleyball. He and his wife, Connie, live in Union Springs. They have two sons, Daniel and Joseph, and twin daughters, Aspen and Layton.
